Immediately following graduation Krystal Schweimler interned with Time Magazine in their Research Center and worked with there for one year. She now balances two part-time positions in adult reference departments at the public libraries: Mastic Moriches Shirley Community Library and Longwood Public Library. Krystal writes “I’m grateful for the education I received from St. John’s and always recommend the institution to others.”

Since graduation she continued her work as a librarian at a local public library. She interned at the U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit Library in the summer of 2011 as an assistant librarian in Central Islip under the supervision of a fellow classmate. The internship recently led to a full time position at the court of appeals library in Brooklyn! Since late August of 2012 she has worked as an assistant librarian in the law library thus fulfilling her goal of combining undergraduate experience as a criminal justice major with graduate library science degree. Laura writes, “It has been a fantastic experience working with this network of law librarians and I can honestly say that I love what I do everyday”.
